CJ Starr

CJ Starr was raised all over the Midwest, but his comedy was born in Texas. His stand up has taken him across the country, connecting with audiences through honest, relatable stories about life, family, and the never ending process of figuring out what you want to be when you grow up.

CJ’s comedy pulls from his real life experiences, including his upbringing, bi racial marriage, kids, stereotypes, jail time, community college, and the everyday chaos of adulthood. His versatility on stage has helped him build a fan base from every walk of life, with material that resonates across generations and backgrounds.

He has been selected to perform at major comedy festivals including The Odd Ball Comedy Festival and Gilda’s Laughfest multiple years in a row. CJ has also expanded his work as a comedy writer for Apple TV and a popular YouTube web series.

His television credits include appearances on LMAO on Jew Life TV and four appearances on Laughs on Fox, with episodes also streaming on Hulu. CJ was a finalist in Kenan Thompson’s Ultimate Comedy Experience and was crowned Funniest Comic in Texas.
